The new Assouline boutique at Liberty is one of the most exciting bookshops to open in London for years. With selected vintage out of print editions and stacks of Assouline classics this is a great place to hibernate while the weather has it's rainy summer tantrum. Fancy fast food like no other! Although this Cool Hunter concept is not a new one it is still very dear to our hearts, so when we came across these images in our piles of research we thought they were too good not to share. www.thecoolhunter.net

ART....Balloons?

We are mesmerised by New York artist Jason Hackenwerth and his giant sized balloon sculptures. Each alien looking piece is made of thousands of small latex balloons and is only temporary, eventually they will shrivel up or burst. We suppose that in a world of fast fashion, it is only right that there is 'Fast art' too, there's always something new for next season surly? On a lighter note, they are just good fun and we like that.

Palm Spring/Summer 2011

This season the MON colour pallet was largely inspired by Palm Springs styling and the rich photography of Slim Aarons. With the collection launching any day now we wanted to share some of the imagery that got us excited.

The new MON collection is due to be launched in the next few weeks and we are busy perfecting the final details in the studio. With our ipods working overtime we thought we'd share our favourites, from the brilliant Pulp and The Darjeeling Limited, the to the weird and wonderful new Dylan Mania album by the hugely talented Parisian artist Biatrice Ardisson.

A Slice Of Boutique Heaven

We are delighted to be able to report that MON scarves are now on sale at The Cross boutique in Holland Park. As one of the first lifestyle boutiques in London The Cross has long been a favourite of ours. We love there eclectic mix of styles and of course their impeccable taste!
